Overview

Vera helped develop a brief training to help sexual assault survivors reduce the risk of further assault. The workshop was developed from material that showed promise in reducing victimization in a sample of college women. Using information gained from in-depth interviews with 33 sexual assault survivors of multiple sexual assaults in New York and Seattle, the material was adapted for urban women.
