Overview

This is Vera's 1977 technical assistance report on the Private Complaint Program (PCP) in Cincinnati, OH, a federally-funded demonstration project to provide a mediation alternative to the traditional criminal justice system processing of disputes between private citizens. This report is divided into two parts:

1) an observations and finding section based on a three day observation of the program by Vera; and

2) a recommendations section that suggests changes in the organization and procedures of the program.
