Overview

This 1980 report is a preliminary evaluation of the Felony Case Preparation Project in the 43rd Precinct, which was developed jointly by the New York City Police Department and the Bronx District Attorney's Office with the assistance of Vera. The Project was designed to determine the impact of case preparation on the disposition of felony cases. Case preparation involves conducting immediate followup investigations on felony arrests and providing Arrest Investigation Reports to the District Attorney.
