Overview

This 1976 Vera study examines the issue of defendants awaiting adjudication of their cases in the criminal court system committing criminal acts. The likelihood of such recidivism and its relation to recommendations about appropriate custody status for each defendant is of concern to the Pre-Trial Services Agency (PTSA).
