Overview

This is the 1972 second year annual report on the Neighborhood Youth Diversion Project (NYDP), a joint project of Vera and Fordham University. The program attempts to channel young people involved in juvenile justice from the traditional Family Court/probation process into a community-based program that offers counseling and mediation. At the time of this report, expansion of the program had resulted in the diversion of 300 juveniles during the second year.
