Overview
An introduction to the Legal Action Center (LAC), sponsored initially by Vera to further the diversion of drug abusers and other offenders from the traditional criminal justice process and to increase their opportunities for rehabilitation. Now an independent entity, LAC litigates on behalf of recovering substance abusers and HIV/AIDS-infected persons.
