Introduction to the Victim Services Agency Computerized Witness Information System

Overview

This 1979 document presents an overview of the Victim Services Agency's (VSA) computerized information system. It includes:

1) background material on the process of notifications/contact/appearance for prosecution witnesses;

2) a presentation of the various elements of "system philosophy" which form the basis of VSA's ongoing design efforts; and

3) an introductory description of the specific computer system which VSA operates and which serves the Kings County District Attorney's Office.
