Overview

This report describes the objectives and operations of the Alternative Youth Employment Strategies Project. In addition, the report includes the design employed, the participant population, and the outcome of the program. There is also an assessment of multi-site demonstration employment programs for 16- to 21-year-olds who were out of school, unemployed, and at high risk for crime. The demonstrations were mounted in New York City, Miami, and Albuquerque.
