Tom was employed as a staff accountant at 82^nd Street Academics where he worked on budget management, forecasting, and financial statement consolidations. During his time there, his work emphasized providing affordable education to the children of the communities in Queens. Afterward, he moved to work as a financial analyst at FEED Projects, furthering his experience as an accounting/finance professional in nonprofits. Tom joined Vera in 2019, and in his role as business analyst worked on invoices and budgets. Tom has a BA in accounting from the University of Toronto in Canada and an MBA in management from Pace University.
