Tania Karina Sawczuk

Tania Karina Sawczuk was a senior planner within the Unaccompanied Children Program in Vera’s Los Angeles office. Before joining Vera, Tania was a founding member and directing attorney at Immigrant Defenders Law Center, a Los Angeles-based social justice nonprofit legal service provider, which launched in 2015. Prior to that, she was a managing attorney at Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, working in removal defense in the Direct Representation Program, National Qualified Representative Program (NQRP) and Legal Orientation Program (LOP) at the Adelanto and Mira Loma Detention Centers. Tania graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and holds a BA from University of California, Los Angeles.
