Siri Danielson

Siri Danielson works as an analyst in Vera’s advocacy and partnerships department to support Vera and Vera Action’s public safety narrative work. Additionally, she works extensively to track how cities across the country are using federal recovery dollars to invest in public safety measures that lead to decarceration.
Before joining Vera in 2021, Siri conducted a year-long research project in Walla Walla, Washington, studying the impacts of familial incarceration on children’s perceptions of community safety. Additionally, she led her college’s sexual violence prevention and consent education programs.
Siri holds a BA in philosophy and psychology with a minor in Hispanic studies from Whitman College.
