Shawn Word
Shawn Word is the Jail Administrator at the Oktibbeha County Jail in Starkville, Mississippi. Word began his law enforcement career in 1997 working full time in the jail while completing college. In 2000, he joined the Starkville Police Department and worked many fields at SPD until 2017 when he began to serve as Jail Administrator at the Sheriff's Office. Shawn is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Sociology.
