Rana Campbell
Rana Campbell joined Vera’s Center on Sentencing and Corrections in Fall 2013 as a Program Analyst and Puttkammer Fellow with the Pathways from Prison to Postsecondary Education Project. Prior to joining Vera, Rana interned in the media world in various marketing, digital, business development, research, writing, and strategy positions. While in college, Rana volunteered with the Petey Greene Prisoner Assistance Program, where she tutored inmates pursuing high school degrees and GED certification. Her senior thesis explored issues in law enforcement and community development from the perspectives of police officers, police chaplains, and community residents. Her creative interests include documentary filmmaking, with a special focus on reentry and recidivism within urban communities. Rana holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in sociology.
