Former Senior Program Associate, Unaccompanied Children Program
Noora Barakat was a senior program associate for Vera’s Unaccompanied Children Program. Before joining Vera, Noora represented immigrant survivors in New York City as a removal defense and family law attorney. Prior to that, Noora spent one year in Amman, Jordan, where she worked on gender justice issues and refugee resettlement cases. Noora holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in child development and American studies from Tufts University.
