Nelson Fitts is a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City, focusing on antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and takeover defense in a broad range of industries. Mr. Fitts is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School, and a frequent writer and lecturer on competition issues in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Wachtell, Lipton, he clerked for Judge John G. Heyburn II of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. He is a trustee of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia.
