Vera Institute of Justice

Michael Collopy is the senior digital content strategist with Vera Action, an independent but aligned 501(c)(4) organization to the Vera Institute of Justice. In his role, Michael designs and orchestrates all of Vera Action's digital media while representing its political interests and advocacy goals, which include ending mass incarceration, protecting immigrants’ rights, restoring dignity to people behind bars, and building safe and thriving communities.

Before joining Vera Action in 2024, Michael worked in various digital advocacy and campaign strategy environments, dealing mainly with the issue areas of democracy reform, K–12 education, and the economy.

Michael holds a BA in political science from the University of New Hampshire.
