Leandra Naranjo
Leandra Naranjo was the program director of Vera’s Unaccompanied Children Program (UCP). Prior to joining Vera, Leandra worked as a staff attorney at the Building Service 32BJ Legal Services Fund, where she represented clients in family court, supreme court, and surrogate’s court. While at 32BJ, Leandra helped lead DACA/DAPA outreach workshops regarding President Obama’s November 20, 2014 Execution Action, with a goal of providing eligibility information to union members. Leandra also completed a one-year clerkship for the Honorable Thomas R. Vena in Essex Vicinage, New Jersey. Leandra graduated from Rutgers School of Law in Newark, New Jersey in May 2008 and from Seton Hall University in May 2004. Leandra was born in Sevilla Valle, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish.
