Kate Finley
Kate Finley is a program associate with Vera’s Center on Sentencing and Corrections. Her work focuses on postsecondary prison education and expanding access to public housing. Prior to joining Vera, Kate worked as a public defender in Baltimore and Montgomery County, Maryland and taught a college-level criminal procedure class at the Jessup Correctional Institution. She also worked for four years for the trial division of Chambers at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Kate holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
