Jessa Wilcox

Jessa is a senior program associate for Vera's Center on Sentencing and Corrections, where her work focuses primarily on the Safe Alternatives to Segregation Initiative. Prior to joining Vera, she was a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society in New York City. Additionally, she was an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Legal Aid Society, where she focused on improving the conditions of confinement for juveniles in custody in New York State. Jessa holds a BA from Wesleyan University and a JD cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law.
