Jenna Pierce
Jenna joined Vera’s Center on Immigration and Justice in March 2017. She was the operations manager with the Unaccompanied Children Program.
Before joining Vera full-time, she worked at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA), where she managed the first ever program evaluation of We Are New York (recently renamed We Speak NYC), an educational television series designed to teach adult immigrants English and promote civic engagement. Prior to working at MOIA, she was a Project Coordinator for Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County’s Health Consumer Center. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras from 2010-2012.
Jenna received her MPA with a specialization in International Policy and Management from NYU Wagner and her BA in both Spanish and International Relations from the University of California, Davis. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
