Ivy Kough

Ivy Kough joined Vera in September 2015 as a program intern in the Center on Youth Justice while pursuing her MSW from Columbia School of Social Work. She has contributed to the Center’s efforts by conducting landscape analyses and best practice scans on topics including Los Angeles County, young adults, and truancy. She also has supported Family Justice Program’s Family Reentry Pilot Program in partnership with NYCHA and is collaborating on a report on NYCHA’s permanent exclusion policy. Prior to joining Vera, Ivy interned at the Coalition for the Homeless, as a case manager with the Eviction Prevention program. She has also worked as a paralegal and has interned at the American Civil Liberties Union and the Anti-Defamation League. Ivy earned her bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
