Grace Paras

Grace joined Vera in May 2014 as a Program Analyst in the Center on Immigration and Justice, where she works on the Legal Orientation Program, which provides detained immigrants with information about forms of relief from removal and how to represent themselves in immigration court. Prior to joining Vera, Grace was a Global Academic Fellow at New York University Abu Dhabi. Grace has held numerous internships at public service organizations, such as the American Friends Service Committee Immigrant Rights Program and the Justice Studies Center of the Americas in Santiago, Chile. In addition to her work at Vera, Grace currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Ms. Foundation for Women’s Young Professionals Advisory Committee and volunteers regularly with Sanctuary for Families. Grace is also a member of NYU Wagner’s Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service (FELPS) class of 2016. Grace graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a BA in Politics and Spanish.
