Vera Institute of Justice

Evelyn Marquez works as a monitoring, evaluation, and learning associate as a part of Vera’s Impact Pipeline. She helps initiative teams to define impact goals, develop metrics, and foster a culture of learning across the Institute.

Before joining Vera, Evelyn worked to evaluate programming and policy aimed at improving children’s welfare and resiliency. Most recently, she worked at JSI Research and Training Institute supporting the monitoring, evaluation, and learning of immunization programs, including COVID-19 implementation in low- and middle-income countries across the globe. Evelyn has also worked as a clinical social worker providing mental health care to under- and uninsured people in Austin, Texas.

Evelyn holds a BS and an MS in social work from the University of Texas and an MPH from Columbia University.
