Chloe Kimball

Chloe Kimball is an aspiring public defender and a 3L at Stanford Law School who has dedicated her career to both indigent defense and criminal justice policy advocacy. Her commitment to the world of criminal justice reform began at JustLeadershipUSA where she worked with the CloseRikers campaign. In the years that followed, she has worked on criminal justice policy reform for a wide array of advocacy and policy organizations including the Brookings Institution, the ACLU Campaign for Smart Justice, and the Vera Institute of Justice. More recently, she has pursued public defense. Through her law school clinic and internships, she has had the opportunity to assist clients at nearly every stage of the judicial process—from arraignment in state court to federal appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court. As of fall 2025, she will be starting at the Brooklyn Defenders Services. Chloe has a B.A. in history from Yale College and two master's degrees in criminal justice policy from the London School of Economics, and she will be graduating with a J.D. from Stanford Law School this spring.
