Brenique Bogle
Brenique Bogle is a program analyst with Vera’s Redefining Public Safety initiative. In her role, Brenique provides technical assistance primarily focused on government capacity-building. Additionally, she evaluates crisis response and violence prevention programming in cities such as New Orleans. In her work, Brenique strives to guide strategic decisions and analyze and synthesize data to drive evidence-based, non-carceral solutions to public safety issues.
Outside of Vera, Brenique enjoys volunteering with the Queens Public Library and the New York Women's Foundation. She is also an avid cook and traveler and writes a multimedia blog.
Brenique holds a joint BA in American and Indigenous studies and global and international studies as well as an MA in global studies from Bard College. A first-generation Jamaican American, she is a Queens, New York, native.
