Anton Robinson
Anton was a senior planner with Vera’s Greater Justice New York initiative. Prior to joining Vera, Anton worked at the New York County Defender Services (NYCDS), where he represented indigent clients facing criminal charges in Manhattan Criminal and Supreme courts. He additionally served as an NYCDS legal recruiter and advocate for discovery reform legislation in the state legislature.
As Senior Court Advocate for the Fortune Society (Fortune), Anton advanced policy reform locally, promoting the utilization of treatment services as an alternative to lengthy prison sentences. He also represented Fortune and participants of its housing assistance program in New York City Civil Court.
Anton represented thousands of people as a felony-certified attorney at the Orlando Public Defenders Office where he specialized in juvenile justice. During law school, Anton interned at the State Attorney's Office for the Eighth Judicial Circuit and volunteered throughout his law school career with the Alachua County Teen Court program. He holds a JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a BS in mass media studies from Florida State University.
