andrew uhrig is the digital designer in Vera's communications and external affairs department, where they ideate, design, and maintain Vera's digital campaigns. In their role, andrew builds awareness of the Institute and its work and mission by creating compelling graphics for Vera’s website and social media channels, conducting visual research to stay up to date on design trends, and by working to ensure adherence to Vera’s visual brand identity across digital collateral.

Before joining Vera in 2022, andrew designed and art directed campaigns at an advertising agency that specializes in the beauty industry.

andrew holds a BA in Africana studies and gender, sexuality, and women's studies from William & Mary.
