Andony Corleto
Andony Corleto is a program associate with Vera California. He previously worked with Vera's Unlocking Potential initiative, where he provided technical assistance, research, and communications support, helping advance the creation of high-quality postsecondary and vocational education programs in prisons.
Before joining Vera, Andony enjoyed a career in production in the entertainment industry as a second assistant director. He also served with the paramilitary organization of Wildland firefighters in the mountains of California, battling flames in two record-breaking seasons.
In his social justice efforts, Andony volunteered with ManifestWorks, creating careers for people who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness, and incarceration. Additionally, Andony spent time with the Anti-Recidivism Coalition to help bring policy change to parole board guidelines for young people.
Andony holds associate’s degrees in social and behavioral science and American studies from Coastline College in Fountain Valley, California.
