Amaris Segui

Amaris Segui works as a financial analyst in the finance department, providing information to Vera’s center and project directors regarding their financial position. In addition, Amaris assists Vera’s program directors in preparing funder budgets and narratives for submission. Upon award approvals, she prepares monthly reports and assists with any budget modifications and extensions as needed.

Amaris has held a keen interest in Vera’s mission for several years. Before joining Vera in 2022, Amaris worked in banking as a lead analyst for one of Japan’s largest banks in New York City. Vera’s mission, coupled with her experience as an analyst, encouraged and inspired her to want to be a part of change. Her ambitions and aspirations align with Vera’s mission to empower communities and the belief that everyone is worthy of dignity and justice.

Amaris holds a BA in psychology from Brooklyn College.
